Anna's homemade stuffing recipe

Sorry I don't have a pic of this recipe, but it is very simple to make!

Serves about 4-6 people

4-6 slices of Turkey sausages, or pork sausage is also great to use if it is your preference (or mix the two...taste yummy!).
2 garlice gloves
1/3 cup of fresh parsley
1 or 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
2 shallots (green long stem kind or the red ones are fine too)
2 cubes of unsalted butter
6 slices of calabrese bread or french baguette is also fine. Toast the bread for about 5 minutes in the oven. Set aside.
1 teaspoon of fresh sage (for seasoning later).

Take the turkey or pork sausages out of their casings and place in frying pan that has been drizzled with some extra virgin olive oil. Add the onion, butter, parsley, rosemary and garlic to the sausage when it becomes brown, usually about 10 minutes.

Let all the ingredients cook for another 10 minutes and then add your toasted calabrese or french baguette. Sprinkle some fresh sage on the sausage and bread mixture, let the bread and sausage cook until the bread becomes moist, but  not soggy! So keep an eye on it! About 5 minutes.

Tip: You can also add some pine nuts if you wish!

Serve and enjoy!
