Just in time for Valentines! Chocolate Cake

CHOCOLATE CAKE



















ingredients:

125 g dark chocolate,
125 g almonds (unpeeled)
125 g fresh butter
100 g caster sugar
25 g of potato starch
3 eggs
a teaspoon of baking powder
a little butter and baking soda or cookie powder for the cake (I got this recipe translated as it was originally in Italian, so please excuse if the recipe content may not be exactly communicated as it's original).

Wipe with a damp cloth the almonds in a blender, then chop. Whip the softened butter with the sugar and when you got a good job and made ​​soft, incorporate the ground almonds, grated chocolate, three egg yolks and two egg whites in slowly until very firm, stirring after adding each ingredient. Add the yeast to the starch and setacciatela above ingredients mixing gently but well. Grease a 24 cm diameter cake tin and sprinkle with powdered biscuit, pour the mixture into it and bake the cake in the oven for 30 minutes already 'hot at 180 degrees.
